On Monday we skyped with Miss Sarah, who teaches in the Kimberley in a remote community called Wangkatjungka. The LOTE teacher, Miss Kerryanne, was making damper in their class while Mrs Hannah was making it in our class at Singleton. Who Knew that making damper was such a workout!
Miss Kerryanne made it look so easy. Each student was then given their own dough to knead, ready for cooking. The students topped their damper with butter, jam, or cheese with some opting for all three!
Once again, Room 13 had a wonderful time joining in with their big buddies from Wangkatjungka.
